Which Subaru SUVs Seat Seven?

As of now, only one Subaru SUV has available seating for up to seven or eight passengers: the Subaru Ascent. Most trims of the Ascent feature second-row captain's chairs which offer additional storage for small items and a seven-passenger capacity. The Subaru Ascent is an ideal choice for people with larger families or larger commutes in general. Find yours today here at JK Subaru, proudly serving the Port Arthur, TX area here in Nederland.

Comfortable, Flexible Seating for All

The Subaru Ascent is the largest and most passenger-accommodating SUV of the Subaru brand. The base trim of the Subaru Ascent seats eight, with second and third-row bench seating. Available on Ascent Premium and Limited trims are second-row captain's chairs, which eliminate the middle second-row seat in favor of comfortable outboard chairs and a walkway down the middle. The captain's chairs provide easy access to the third row and can split/fold flat with the simple flip of a switch. This second-row seating option comes totally standard on the highest Ascent trim level, the Ascent Touring.

The Subaru Ascent provides a great option for long-distance road trips or just daily commuting to Hamshire-Fannet Middle or Curtis Elementary School in Beaumont, TX. This midsize SUV offers a spacious 153.5 cubic feet of passenger volume, which gives each row a lot of breathing room. When you need more space for cargo the third-row bench seating also folds flat with one touch, freeing up to 46.5 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the second row.
